Cormac is a chartered accountant who has worked in various industrial and corporate finance roles in both Ireland and Germany. He served as a special adviser to Michael McDowell during the 2002 to 2007 Government. Cormac lectures in finance at UCD, the IMI and Chartered Accountants Ireland. He is also a frequent commentator on public affairs and is a regular columnist with the Sunday Times (Irish edition).
